The RAM® Twist-Lock™ Suction Cup Mount for Insta360 (RAM-B-224-1-379-252025-RWU) is a versatile mounting solution that easily locks onto any glass or non-porous plastic surface. Secure the Insta360 by screwing the RAM® Tough-Ball™ and rubber washer onto the base of the device. The RAM® Twist-Lock™ suction cup features a 3.3" diameter base and is designed to have a strong, reliable hold. The RAM® Mounts ball and socket system allows near-infinite adjustment to capture the perfect angle.

Can the RAM® Twist-Lock™ Suction Cup Mount for Insta360 be placed outside the car for filming, on the roof for example?

Yes, the suction cup can be placed theoretically anywhere the suction cup will hold properly. However, we would not recommend mounting the suction cup outside the vehicle while it is in motion.
